2. Measured survey

We will carry out a full measured survey to attain an existing set of drawings of your property.

3. Research

4. Create initial concepts

We will then produce initial concept designs of your proposal for discussion and amendment if required.

5. Submit to Planning

Upon submission (validation/acceptance at the local authority takes around a week - 2 weeks). there will then be a period of around 6-8 weeks for approval. During tis period, we will contact the respective local authority to discuss the progression of the application and assist with any questions that they may have.

6. Building regulations

We will provide detailed building regulation drawings for your design to ensure compliance with building regulations.

Lawful Development Certification

While a planning application is not always mandatory, it is important in such circumstances to obtain a Lawful Development Certificate, so that you can prove the legality of your development. This ensures you are allowed to build a garage, convert a loft, or perform a home extension to your property under these rules, as long as they fulfil certain measurements.

Once you acquire the Lawful Development Certificate, you can commence work straight away. During this process we will create detailed building regulation drawings for tendering and construction purposes.
